According to the Shipping Industry Network, the CEO of Caderer, the world's largest wind power installation vessel operator under BW Group, has stated that it is considering further mergers and acquisitions.
According to reports, before Christmas 2023, Caderer completed a merger with American competitor Eneti (formerly Scorpio Bulkers) to create the world's largest wind power installation vessel operator, causing quite a sensation in the industry. Now, Mikkel Gleerup, CEO of Caderer, has revealed that further mergers and acquisitions may be imminent.
He said, "That's a wonderful feeling. We've studied other possible companies and we can do this together. In the offshore wind power industry, of course, some people - including myself - may think there is room for integration. Therefore, we have conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the industry."
Mikkel Gleerup emphasized that there are currently no specific transactions. But if given the opportunity, Caderer is already prepared.
